Our mission is to run high-quality and highly focused Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai events that cater to niche audiences within the martial arts community. We are not trying to be everything to everyone. Instead, we are trying to be the best we can be for the communities we serve.
OUR STORY
About KD Events LLC
KD Events LLC was founded by brothers Matthew and Robert Van Valkenburgh, along with partner Dwayne Bowie, to serve the Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai communities by offering specialized events for groups often overlooked by larger promotions.
Our goal is not to compete with big Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai promotions, but to fill in the gaps by offering affordable and professional scrimmage and competition opportunities for underserved subcultures within the sports we love.
We host a variety of events, including Youth and Adult Muay Thai and Jiu-Jitsu Scrimmages, NoGi Jiu-Jitsu Superfights, Scrimmages and Open Mats for Older Grapplers, Scrimmages and Open Mats for Female Grapplers, and more…
